MONO lets you see the world in black and white before you press the shutter. It is made for one focused job: taking monochrome photographs without a menu full of manual controls.

Three tones, one purpose

Choose NATURAL for balanced tones, SOFT for gentle highlights and skin, or HARD for deeper blacks and stronger edges.

Tap the viewfinder to focus, drag vertically at the focus control to adjust exposure, and switch a physical lens or the front camera when the composition calls for it.

Your photographs stay close

A capture creates one full-resolution processed photograph and saves it to Photos with add-only access. MONO also keeps private preview copies in its local gallery so you can review your MONO roll without reading the Photos library.

Made for iPhone

MONO requires an iPhone running iOS 18 or later. It is a paid standalone app with no account, no cloud photo upload, no advertising, and no subscription.
